A medical spa, also called a medi-spa, offers many of the same treatments and comforts as the typical spa you may have visited -- with one very important difference. To be a legitimate medical spa, a licensed healthcare professional, such as a physician or nurse, must reside on the premises and be actively involved in the client's care.

The Foot & Hand Spa offers medical-grade pedicures and manicures. We also apply artificial nails. In fact, for people with diseased or infected toenails, our nail professionals work with the foot doctors at the Foot & Ankle Center. While the doctors treat the diseased nails, we apply temporary toenails that look like the real thing!

At the Foot & Hand Spa, a licensed professional who understands the anatomy and structure of the foot and diseases of the skin and nails will pamper your feet under the supervision of a Board Certified podiatrist. A standard medical-grade pedicure takes about 45 minutes and includes a relaxing foot and leg massage.

At the Foot & Hand Spa, we use EPA-registered hospital disinfectants, and our sanitation procedures meet or exceed OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards for maintaining a clean environment and preventing the spread of germs and disease. In fact, our instruments are sterilized using the same techniques a hospital uses to sterilize surgical instruments.
