Meet Chris Fosdick, Physical Therapist at The Foot & Ankle Center, Richmond, Va.
Chris Fosdick, DPT, CSCS, received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and is also a Strength and Conditioning Coach.
He has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, sports medicine and orthopedic care. During his education he gained experience at VCU, working with patients in the NICU, cardiac and pulmonary units, as well as burn units, oncology, psychiatric, trauma and brain injury rehabilitation units. He first found his clinical interest in foot and ankle patients while studying at UVA HealthSouth’s Outpatient Orthopedics / Sports Medicine center.
Before joining the staff of The Foot & Ankle Center, he provided services at Sheltering Arms, including post-operative care, sports medicine, gait training, return-to-play rehab, and more.
Among his many areas of specialty are running and gait analysis, orthotics and footwear, diagnostic ultrasound, therapeutic dry needling, and manual therapy, including mobilization and manipulation.
His considerable charitable and community work has included volunteering at the VCU CARE clinic and the Virginia Special Olympics.
He joined the staff of The Foot & Ankle Center in 2019, and is welcoming new patients.
