New Podiatrist Joins Our Staff
All of us here at The Foot & Ankle Center are thrilled to welcome a third podiatrist to our clinic! Meet Dr. Alexander Mount, reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon, who joined Dr. Waskin and Dr. Frost at The Foot & Ankle Center on May 2, 2016.
Dr. Mount provides complete podiatric care. He has special expertise in treating severe foot and ankle deformities (such as Charcot foot in diabetic patients), and in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery for adult and pediatric patients.
He brings with him an impressive list of accomplishments, including receiving multiple awards and scholarships for podiatric expertise, and he was chief resident during his final year of residency. He has also published numerous podiatry articles in respected national publications such as The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the ACFAS Scientific Literature Review.
Dr. Mount earned his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 2012 from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., and completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. We are proud to welcome him to our medical staff.
